The Digital Learning Framework has been developed to assist schools with the integration of digital technologies into teaching and learning. The school has recently invested in a suite of iPads that enables the pupils to actively engage with technology in education. Our Digital Learning Plan provides a successful platform to develop the digital literacy of each pupil as part of learning. Every Wednesday during lunch time our Scratch Club meets.
European Union NextGenerationEU Funding This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. This funding was used to upgrade digital technologies in the middle and senior classrooms. To enhance whole class, group and individual teaching and learning the following was purchased; 2 laptops, a visualiser and 2 interactive touchscreen boards.
